Rick Reynolds created this children’s book in collaboration with Clackamas County Vector Control and illustrator Fran Lee. It helps engage students in learning about mosquitoes, mosquitofish, and how to keep themselves and their families safe from mosquito-borne diseases. Learn more about the program and read the book here.
We can mail the books and “Beware of Mosquitula!” posters throughout Clackamas County for free. We are also offering free life cycle kits kits with live larvae, curriculum aligned to NGSS and Common Core standards, and training opportunities for Clackamas County educators. Let us know if you would like to learn more!
